Effective date: July 9, 2026
MindBranch (“the app”) is a mind-mapping app for organizing your ideas. It was built to keep your information private. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
None. MindBranch does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. There are no accounts to create, and there are no servers that receive your data. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
Everything you create in MindBranch — pages, circles, text, colors, and layout — is stored on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app removes this content from your device.
If you turn on iCloud Sync (an optional Pro feature, off by default), a copy of your maps is also stored in your own private iCloud account so they stay up to date across your Apple devices. This uses Apple’s iCloud service; the data lives in your personal iCloud and is not accessible to us. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy. Turning the feature off stops syncing new changes.
MindBranch offers one optional, one-time in-app purchase (“MindBranch Pro”) that unlocks unlimited pages and circles. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your name, payment card, or any billing information. The app only receives confirmation of whether the Pro unlock has been purchased, so it can enable those features. Apple’s handling of your purchase is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.
MindBranch does not share any data with third parties. The only external service the app interacts with is Apple’s App Store, solely to process the optional purchase and to restore it across your devices when you ask it to.
MindBranch does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
